Who this is
A younger version of you would have needed this
Vantage Point started from a simple idea: the finance videos a capable person in their twenties actually needs, not the ones they usually get sold. Each one is made for the person I was a few years ago, someone with real potential who was tired of hearing that getting rich is easy if you just buy the course.
The goal is not to impress you. It is to get you on the right path faster than I got there, and to be honest about how slow that path usually is. If one video saves you a year of drifting, it did its job.
The author
Run by one person
One person runs the channel and this site. AI tools help draft the scripts and build the tools here, and one person decides what gets made and approves every video before it goes out. None of it is written to sell you a product, which matters on a topic where so much of what you read online is a sales pitch.
The mission
Honest about the odds
Most finance content online runs on urgency. A ticking clock, a secret, a number designed to make you feel behind. Vantage Point is built as the calm opposite, because good money decisions get made with a clear head.
The mission has two parts. First, the fundamentals, explained plainly: compounding, the cost of waiting, and where your paycheck should go. Second, the questions people type into a search bar, like whether to rent or buy, or how many months you could last if your paycheck stopped. Each one gets real numbers and a straight answer, including when the answer is that a popular shortcut does not work.
This is education, not advice. It is here to help you think more clearly and make your own decisions, never to tell you what to buy.
The methodology
Why you can trust what is here
Trust on a finance site should come from how the work is made, not from a headline. Here is how the videos and tools are put together.
- Checked numbers. The figures in a video are checked against their sources before it is recorded.
- Tools you can use. The tools on this site run in your browser and store nothing you type. You do not need an account or an email address to use them.
- Estimates are called estimates. When a figure is rough, you are told it is rough. When the honest answer is that most people will not get rich doing something, that is what gets said.
- No paid picks. Nothing here steers you toward a product for a commission. If that ever changes, any paid relationship will be disclosed plainly, and it will never decide what gets recommended.
- Local examples are labelled. The ideas are meant to work wherever you live. When a video uses one country's numbers or accounts, it says so, and you can swap in your own.
The stance
The line this channel will not cross
There is no promise of a return here. You will not see portfolio screenshots or a get-rich timeline, and nothing is built to make you act before you have thought it through. The niche is full of that, and this channel leaves it out.
What you get instead is the real path, described at its real pace. It is slower than the hype, and you get to walk it at your own speed. That is the whole point of a vantage point: enough height to see clearly, and enough distance to stay calm about what you see.
